More of the best new and forthcoming drum and bass releases for February…

Sunchase – The Truth EP (Med School)

Sunchase returns with a 6 track EP on Med School. Lovely and deep throughout with plenty of warm pads and stripped back minimal drums. Also included are co labs with Blu Mar Ten and Electrosoul System.

Various – Intrigue 12 (Intrigue)

An excellent various artists EP with an impressive line up of artists including Break, Zero T and Random Movement to name a few. Although mainly on the liquid vibe as you’d expect more heavy tech efforts mean this EP will cover a nice listen at home as well as some smashers for the dance floor.

Spectrasoul – Always / I don’t Mind (Shogun Audio)

Two Slices of trademark Spectrasoul deepness which will have most dnb heads licking their lips. Spectrasoul have to be one of the most consistent duos in the game. Look out for Spectrasoul’s second album dropping later this year.

Ivy Lab –  Twenty Questions EP (Critical)

Since Sabre, Halogenix and Stray came together to form Ivy Lab they have become one of the most talked about names in dnb and with good reason as yet another top quality EP shows. This is a must buy! A really well rounded EP combining rolling, liquid and half time sounds. I predict we’re gonna be hearing these tracks at most nights for next couple of months at least.

Paul T & Edward Oberon – Tempt / I still love you (V Recordings)

After several great liquid releases throughout 2014 Paul T and Ed Oberon show their versatility with these two heavier efforts on V Recordings.

Mako – All we can do / Do you feel the same / Too broke to get it (Warm Communications)

Mako drops three slices of deep minimal and cinematic Drum and Bass on warm communications. Mako is a name to keep an eye on this year with plenty or projects in the pipeline.

Bazil – Once red / Stomping Resting ground (Flexout)

Flexout continues its recent high quality level of output with these two super clean rollers from Bazil.

RQ – Shimmer / Traces (Blu Mar Ten Music)

Two super deep efforts from Newcomer RQ on Blu Mar Ten music fusing Good Looking with Autonomic to great effect. Also check out the recent chat I had with the man himself.

Undersound – Forever’s Calling / Golden Lotus (Vibration Recordings)

Vibration is a label to watch after some recent solid releases and this effort from Undersound continues this theme. Forever’s calling is the heavier of the two and will slide straight into any live set whilst Golden Lotus brings the lovely vocals and Logistics style bass.

Krakota – Ice Hands / Ghosts (Hospital)

Krakota’s latest effort is not exactly what you might expect from a typical hospital release with massive drums and angry bass, its heavyweight stuff!
